Six arrested for molestation of teenage girl on Mumbai road.

Mumbai | Mar | 13 March  2014 | PTI : : Police today arrested three more persons accused of molesting and almost stripping an 18-year-old girl on a street in suburban Kandivali (West) in broad daylight, taking the total number of arrested so far to six.

The three accused nabbed today were Habib (19) and two minors, police said.Police had yesterday arrested Fayyaz Ahmed Khan, Saroj Khan and Naushad Khan, all in their twenties, and booked them under section 354 (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code.

On Monday, the girl was allegedly groped and almost stripped by a group of a dozen young men near Hindustan Naka in Kandivali in broad daylight.

Shockingly, when the girl, trying to escape the molesters, entered a restaurant, the people there drove her out before she was finally rescued by a police constable on patrolling duty and some passersby.

According to the girl, she and her friend had come from Bandra to Hindustan Naka in an auto. While getting off, they realized that they did not have enough cash to pay the fare."The victim's friend, whose relative stays nearby, went to the house to borrow some cash while the victim waited in the rickshaw," said a police officer.

However, when her friend did not return for quite some time, she wanted to go out and check on her, but the rickshaw driver insisted on payment right then. "The girl handed over her mobile phone as security, but the driver started arguing with her loudly," the officer said.

Some young men who were playing cricket nearby went to the spot and started teasing the girl. When the girl began to walk away, they chased her, caught her and tried to strip her, according to the officer.

She ran to a nearby restaurant, but the management drove her out. She later also tried to enter another autorickshaw, but was dragged out by the accused, police said.

Her ordeal ended when some motorists stopped and rescued her by driving off the men. A beat marshal constable also reached the spot and took one of the youths into custody.Initially, the girl was reluctant to lodge the complaint but was convinced by police. ( Courtesy : Deccan Herald )

IAU | Mumbai | Mar 2, 2014:: A highly Allha devoted 'maulana' and his 'sagir' (junior) of  a madarasa attached to Bilali mosque in Sangam Nagar in Wadala, who used to sexually assault small children who came to learn Arabic, was arrested by Wadala TT police on Saturday.

Abrarul Haque (29) and his assistant Irfan both have been booked under IPC sections of 354, 509 and sections 8 and 12 of protection of children from sexual assault. While police have arrested Haque from the mosque, police are looking for Irfan who is absconding said Suhash Garood, senior inspector of Wadala Truck Terminals police station. 

Haque was arrested after a 14-year-old girl and her parents walked-in to a police station on Saturday and filed a complaint mentioning that he passed lewd remarks and tried to molest her. Some says that Irfan the asstt, is still at large. 

"Acting on a complaint, Abara-Ul-Haq, principal of the madarasa in Bilauli mosque at Shanti Nagar in Wadala, and Irfan, the teacher, have been booked under Sections 354 (outraging the modesty of woman), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of woman) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012." Said Suhas Garud, senior police inspector of Wadala TT police station. He added that Haq was remanded in police custody till March 7 by the holiday court on Sunday and a manhunt has been launched to nab Irfan.

Haque is a native of Banaras and had come to the city two and half years ago. As he was qualified in religious teaching, the trustees of the madrassa, which is a part of the Bilali masjid in Sangam Nagar in Wadala, had appointed him as the Imam. His basic duty was to lead the prayers and in the spare time teach Arabic. 

Police said that several children— boys and girls from the nearby slums of Sangam Nagar used to come to learn Arabic.

"Apart from the complainant, people have now approached us claiming that he was a habitual offender as children had complained regarding his advances. He has been remanded to police custody and we are trying to find his associate," said Garood. Members of the public have said that they will see that both are sacked from their priest's and assistant's post accordingly.

These perpetrators should be stoned to death according to SHARIA LAW without which Muslim clerics often feels extreme suffocation and always tries to have it as their law.
